Growing up

I can still remember being a little kid with not a care in the world, when my biggest worry was having to go to school. I played little league and loved being outside, I was just a kid, no need to work yet or take on responsibility.

My wife ended up going to dinner with some friends last night so I was able to spend some quality time with my son. He is so innocent! He was taking all the pots and pans out of the cupboard then went and took all his toys out of his toy box. I just watched him, he is more and more like me everyday, its so cool how the rolling pin from the kitchen is one of his favorite toys.

I tell Ryder everyday that I am so proud of him! If you take a look back at your own life, just think what a few more "I'm Proud of You's" would have done for you.

I pray he always stays innocent and playful, he is the happiest boy I know. I think that's how we all are supposed to be, carefree and innocent, but we let life get in the way and it tries to steal our fun.

Ryder thought my feet were the coolest thing last night, here is a parting picture.
